And other thoughts on intuiting yours and others needs
Hello, and happy full moon in Cancer!
Today’s full moon in Cancer is extra comfy and caring as the moon is in its home sign where it rules, and is getting an extra boost from a sextile to Jupiter retrograde in Taurus. This full moon is one of the most peaceful we’ve had in a long time and it isn’t getting derailed or interfered with by challenging aspects or eclipses. So not only does it simply feel like a breath of fresh air, it also entirely encompasses us in comforts of body and heart.
You may find yourself considering what you need most to feel your best, intuiting others needs, reflecting on your family or traditions, or feeling extra affectionate, compassionate, and nurturing towards yourself, or given and chosen family. Everything is extra extra with all things Cancer this full moon.
Jupiter is gifting us their expansive energy full of hope, blessings, and possibilities, and when paired with Cancer’s loving and caring sentiments swelled by the moon, it nourishes and fulfills the whole body and heart, soothing emotions and creating tenderness in familial relationships that benefit from the outpouring of kindness and empathy. You may have heightened feelings of belonging and safety that help you to connect with your emotions and intuition. This is a beautiful and powerful time to allow them to guide you.
One of my favorite parts about this full moon is that the moon and Jupiter are in each other’s signs of exaltation. That means: the moon is exalted in Taurus and Jupiter is exalted in Cancer. This relationship between the moon and Jupiter seems so extra expansive with abundant giving and receiving. They are able to nurture one another in a way that is generous and uplifting, so full of cherished gifts for one another, that we can’t help but receive the harmonious blessings and share them with others ourselves.
